People Period.

Women are people. Period.

We are a performing arts project created by and for women grounded in original, embodied storytelling and connection.

Who

To validate the strength and resilience of women survivors regardless of race, ethnicity, class, disability, sexuality, or sex assigned at birth.

Why

We transform raw, vulnerable, and sometimes comically funny life stories into captivating performances shared in a safe space.

What

Watch to see what inspired the creation of People Period.

Kate Robinson, People Period’s artistic director and main performer.

People Period's inaugural production, Mine Alone, will launch across Texas in the Spring of 2025.

Written, created and performed by artist, Kate Robinson, Mine Alone is a deeply personal account that starts at age 12.

With the giant cliffs of Big Sur as a backdrop, we witness how one woman navigates in real time, a controlling boyfriend, a death threat, and a decision she never wanted to make.

Kate, the artistic director and creator of People Period is a seasoned performer with more than 20 years working in the non-profit sector as a senior leader, advocate, and learning designer.

This project leverages her work and relationships in the community while her skills as an artist provides meaningful outcomes and validation for women survivors.

In Mine Alone, we see a woman morph before our eyes as she navigates an abusive relationship, a death threat, and a decision she never wanted to make.
